Mitsubishi Pajero Vacuum Diagrams

Q. Dear Vince, I checked the engine oil which has only been in for under two weeks and 300 miles. It was BLACK (like molasses) and quite fluid. I changed it and added one liter of ATF fluid as you had suggested. Will keep it for about 10 days then drain. I do a lot of rush hour, heavy traffic slow driving.

Hope that pencil tapping sound goes after that, otherwise I'll have to open the valve cover and check those lifters and push rods.

I have a 1990 Mitsubishi Pajero (Montero in the US) 3.0 liter V-6. I have vacuum hoses missing and need the diagram. Do you know what is the manufacturer's spark plug gap setting? Thanks for your continuous help!

Cheers,
Abbas

A. I think the ATF will help clean out the junk you may have in the engine. You might have to do it a couple of times to get it all and, hopefully, that will take care of the valve tap.

I got the vacuum diagrams you need and put them in a self-extracting file for you.
