Plymouth Grand Voyager Door Lock
Q. We have a 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager, 3.3 liter, automatic transmission, approximately 98,000 miles, ABS, P/S, A/C, cruise control, power windows and locks, and remote keyless entry.
Yesterday, when using the "lock" push button on the remote, one of the sliding side doors failed to lock.
The horn "chirped" once as usual and all the other doors locked fine. I unlocked the doors using the "unlock" push button and then tried the "lock" button again. I did this twice and then all the doors finally locked.
Any ideas as to why this happened? This morning I tried it again and all doors locked the first time.

It may have been a glitch in the system. Maybe the lock motor got stuck and cycling it like you did got it unstuck. At this point it would be impossible to troubleshoot. I checked all my TSBs and there is no mention of this problem.
