Dodge Caravan TPS Codes Q. Hi, I'm working on a 1992 Dodge Caravan 3.3 liter V-6 and automatic transmission. It won't stay running. It idles for a while than dies. Sometimes it will start back up other times it won't. It won't accelerate at all. It's fuel injected. It carries 45 psi of fuel pressure. It's getting spark.

I changed EGR valve, TPS sensor, checked for vacuum leaks, codes. TPS sensor keeps coming up on my scan tool. I'm lost hope you can help me.

A. Trying to come up with a diagnosis in this venue is not easy. And it gets a lot harder when people do not give me specific code numbers. I don't have time, and it's unfair to the others waiting, to go through a few hundred code numbers to find, maybe, the one you are getting.

So, the best I can do for you is this; if the TPS is brand new and known to be good, the problem must be in the wiring between the TPS and the PCM, or the PCM itself.
