Shiftless Chevy Camaro

Q. If you can help solve this problem it would be a miracle!!!!! No joke. I own a 1995 Chevy Camaro and ever since mileage hit 30,000 there has been a problem accelerating from a stopped position. On short stop and go trips, when you stop, the car has to be manually put in second gear for the car to move.

Shiftless Chevy Camaro

I have had it to approximately seven different car repair facilities and no one can figure it out. I have replaced the computer, heating sensor unit, and the lists goes on. The car has 90,000 miles and is in perfect shape except for this problem. I also contacted GM and they cannot figure this out. The wiring harness was also inspected with no cure. Help!!!!!!!

Thanks...

A. Is it an automatic or manual transmission? Are you saying that the transmission doesn't move the car unless it's in second gear? I would try another dealer about it. Sounds like something they should be able to pick up with their Tech 2 installed and road testing it a couple of miles.
