Chevy C1500 Neutral Safety Switch Q. Hello Vincent, How do I remove and replace the Neutral Safety Switch on a 1993 Chevy Pickup? I have lowered the steering wheel but can't figure out how to remove the Neutral Safety Switch on end of the steering column just before the fire wall. 1993 Chevy C1500 Pickup 4.3 liter V-6 TBI Automatic transmission 130,000 miles Non-tilt steering wheel Thank you, Harry

A. I'm assuming you want to replace it? Sometimes the best way to figure out how to remove it is to look at the new one to see if you can see how it's attached. Some just have a pinch tab that you squeeze and pull up on switch. Others have a couple of screws holding it on.
