Cherokee Turn Signals
Q. Hi, I'm sorry to bother you but, I have not found the cause of my problem and I hope it's something you may well have the answer to. In short, My turn signals won't flash. The flasher lights come on, on the side selected, but don't blink. However, when the hazard switch is on all four corners flash just perfectly. If this is indicative of a specific problem (it's a 1992 Cherokee btw) I would really appreciate a pointer on what to look for.
I've already replaced the little round flasher unit with no improvement. If I can't get them going I guess maybe I'll have to take it to an auto electric guy or something. Thanks for your help. You have a very nice web site.
Take care, and thanks again,
MikeA. There are two flasher units for that car, one for the turn signals and one for the hazard warning.
The turn signal flasher is located at the upper left corner of the fuse block. The hazard warning flasher is located at the lower right corner of the fuse block. You probably just replaced the wrong flasher unit.
