Subaru Legacy DTCs 21, 22, 23, 31 & 32 Q. Hi, can you tell me what codes 21, 22, 23, 31 and 32, are for a 1993 Subaru Legacy Wagon AWD, automatic transmission, 2.2 liter? We disconnected the air sensor, throttle sensor and a module located in the center of the firewall to see if we'd get a response on the scan tool, but it wouldn't work.

Then we found out to connect two black wires under dash and the engine light flashes the codes. Help! its very hard starting when cold, almost kills the battery but after that okay for the day.
