351 Or 400? Q. Where on my 1978 engine can I find the identification codes? It is supposed to be a 351 Cleveland but partial identification tag says 400 cid. Can't read much else, from tag on driver side valve cover. Thanks, Jimmy

A. The VIN number will have a code in it that will tell you what engine is in the car. Unfortunately my VIN decoder only goes back to 1982 so I can't help you much. You might try posting this question in my Forum. I have an Antique and Classic cars folder just for this type of question.
