Chrysler Town & Country Cruise Control

Q. I cannot seem to find the fuse that protects the cruise control circuits. Does it share with another accessory? The cruise control stopped working suddenly including the cruise indicator light. Any ideas?

Chrysler Town & Country Cruise Control

A. There is no fuse for the cruise control. The electronic control is integrated into the Powertrain Control Module (PCM), located next to battery.

The PCM will store a DTC for the cruise control. If a scan tool is not available, use the following procedure:

  1. With key inserted in the ignition switch, cycle the switch to ON position three times. On the third cycle, leave the switch in ON position.
  2. After the switch has been cycled three times, observe the Check Engine Light on the instrument cluster. If a diagnostic code is present, the indicator will flash (blink) in a series which will show which diagnostic code is the problem. Example: A series of three flashes in rapid succession, a slight pause, then four flashes in rapid succession would indicate diagnostic code 34.
