Dodge Stratus Blower Motor

Q. I have a 2001 Dodge Stratus, automatic transmission, about 55,000 miles on it. It has A/C and cruise control. I am having trouble with the fan on the heater and air conditioner fan. It will run on the fourth setting, but not on the lower three settings. What could the possible problems be??? If you need more information about the car, let me know and I will find it out.

A. Looks like you have a bad blower motor resistor. It's easy to replace. Just remove the dash undercover on the right side and it's right there. Take out the two screws holding it in and pop out the old one, pop in the new one and you're done.

The blower motor resistor is P/N 4885919AA and costs about $4.85 from the Dodge dealer. Figure 30 minutes to replace it.
