Dodge Dakota Has Crazy High Beams Q. Hi, I have a 1995 Dodge Dakota. I'm having a problem with my high beams. When I need to use them they only last for about five minutes before they start to flash and or turn all lights off completely. I have changed the bulbs themselves and the circuit breaker fuse that is equipped in this particular truck. Still not working.

Any suggestions? I have followed the wiring a little and it doesn't seem to have any bald spots or hot spots. Help please.

A. I would have to say the problem is with the Multi-Function switch on the steering column Karen. I can't rule out the wiring between the Multi-Function switch and the power supply, but the fact that your low beams seem to be working properly tends to make me believe the wiring is okay and it is, indeed, the Multi-Function switch.
