Ford Thunderbird Flashing 'O/D Off' Q. Vincent, thank you for your informative web site. I have a 1994 Ford Thunderbird with around 60,000 miles with a flashing "O/D Off" light. The transmission is working fine. I cleared the computer codes about 300 miles ago and the light just came back on. Is there a transmitter I can check for the faulty signal? Thanks for your help. A. The flashing OD Light is telling you the PCM has detected a fault and has stored a code. You can access the Diagnostic Trouble Codes and see what those stored codes are.
