GMC Sonoma Head And Turn Signals

Q. Hi there, I have a 1991 GMC Sonoma truck with a 2.5 litre 4 cylinder engine. I have a funny problem in the dash that will not go away. My emergency brake indicator light in the car is flashing intermittently, what could this be? Also when I turn on my headlights, the turn signal lights both come on as bright green.

The turn signals still blinks while this is happening. Could the two things be from the same electrical problem? I remember that I bottomed the truck out just before these problems began to occur. Any ideas? Also, was there any kind of a recall on the paint for these trucks. The paint just all peeled off. Thanks for your reply.

A. The flashing red warning light may indicate a problem with the rear wheel anti-lock brakes, if equipped. You need to get it checked for any codes stored in the brake module. The turn signal lights problem may be wrong bulbs installed in the turn signal sockets, bad grounds to one or more sockets or a crossed over filament inside one the bulbs.
