Toyota Sienna Remote Starter Q. Hi Vince, I'm installing a remote starter and alarm into a 1998 Toyota Sienna. Everything is pretty much completed, except I'm having problems finding the tach wire. Do you have a diagram that would point me in the right direction? I'm also trying to hook up the alarm to the rear defroster, so she can turn it on via the remote. Do you know what wire I need to access? THANKS!

A. You can get a tach signal from the violet/red wire behind the instrument cluster.

I'm not sure what wire you need from the defroster but here is the wiring diagram.
