Grand Cherokee Blowing Fuses

Q. Vincent, I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee that is blowing the PCM/ASD Relay fuse in the Power Distribution Center. I seems to run fine until it heats up. It will blow the fuse when idling at a stop. If I leave it sit for a while it will run, with the replacement fuse.

Any suggestions where to look first? According to a mechanic there are no fault codes. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

A. When a fuse blows out like this, it's usually due to a high current draw. Since I doubt the PCM is drawing enough current to pop the fuse, I would look at how much current the fuel pump is drawing.
