Sentra Clutch Cable

Q. Mr Ciulla, I have a 1993 Nissan Sentra, 1.6 liter manual transmission. I am replacing the clutch cable and can't find the connection to the pedal itself. I know it should slide on but can't find the notch it should slide onto. I'm wondering if when the cable broke( it broke at the pedal) something else broke that I haven't found. Any help would be greatly appreciated as is this forum.

Thank you,
Rod

A. If you look at the very top of the clutch pedal you will see a hook. The end of the cable fits onto that hook. If it doesn't have that hook, then it did indeed break off and the clutch pedal will need to be replaced.
