Toyota On Fire??? Q. Hi, I have a Toyota Corolla 1995 with 62,000 miles on it and it was parked and when started on it start to give on loud noise and turned it off and took the keys out but car kept running and then thick smoke started to come from under the hood the car ran dead and smoke disappeared. Please explain. I would appreciate. Neena

A. I don't know what to tell you Neena, it could be anything. I would have to open the hood and take a look. It's possible a radiator or heater hose popped and that's the noise you heard.

I would not drive it until I had it looked at. Sorry I can't be of more help to you.
