Ford Probe Blowing White Smoke

Q. Hello, I need help! My car has white or light gray smoke coming from the exhaust at start up, only after its been sitting over night. If I let it warm up before taking off down the road it doesn't smoke, if so very little. After the car is warmed up its fine for the day. I can park the car and then drive it later in the day and its fine. Only smokes after sitting over night.

Also sometimes if I downshift and floor the car it will blow some smoke out then also. Sometimes if I driving the car hard, when you park you can smell gas. The smoke looks like the smoke that would come from a car in winter time, but much more.

I've had the car to two different Ford shops and they say that nothing shows up on when they hook it up to the computers. The car uses no oil what so ever. The last Ford dealer told me that the car need new spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, and the fuel injectors cleaned.

I have since had every thing that they said done except the fuel injectors cleaned. I was going to have them cleaned, but they told me that my car didn't have a place to hook up the machine that was needed to clean my injectors. I would greatly appreciate your help.

A. White smoke is usually indicative of a bad head gasket. SO based on that I would start checking them out next. If the spark plugs you took out were very white, that would tend to support the head gasket diagnosis.
