Ranger Cruise Control

Q. I have a problem with my 1993 Ford Ranger, 4.0 manual transmission and cruise. I have done all the tests for the sensor, switches, servo and they have all checked good. I got the data from Alldata which was a big help. I'm thinking on replacing the amp since it is the only part I am not sure of being good.

When the cruise started going the gas pedal was pulsing when it was on. If that is any help. What do you think?

Thanks.

A. With everything testing out as good, the cruise control amplifier would be the next logical step to take. Since there is no way to really test the amplifier itself, the only way to know for sure is to replace it.
