Dodge Grand Caravan Stalls??
Q. I was stopped at a stop light (on my way to work) and when I move my foot from the brake to the accelerator pedal the van engine stopped. I put it back into park and restarted with no problem but as soon as I put it into drive, it stopped again. Never would restart.
I tried idling for up to 10 minutes thinking some moisture was somewhere it shouldn't be, but as soon as I put the van into drive, the engine would stop again.
The van was towed into the repair shop (Friday). The folks at the repair shop started the van on Monday to put it into neutral to move to another location and the van was fine. The folks at the repair shop have been trying to get the van to replicate the difficulty I had with it, but nothing. Any thoughts on what might be the problem??

A. Anything I would suggest now would be pure speculation. There are so many things that could cause your van to stall like that. It may have been a fluke or it could be a sign of something going bad. If there are no codes stored in the computer then there is really nothing to go on.
