Buick Park Ave Brake Light Short?
Q. I have a 1989 Buick Park Ave. I have a short in my trunk brake light. The other brake light works fine. Can you help me?
A. I'm not sure how you determined it's a short. If it's not working, you need to have 12 volts at the plug on one circuit. The other needs to be grounded. If you have no voltage, it could be a brake light switch. There usually is two switches on the brake pedal. One for the regular stop lites, the other is for the third stop lite and cruise or TCC switch control.
