Chevy Astro Fuel Pressure Regulator

Q. Hi, Vince, I have a 1993 Chevy Astro Van 4.3 liter engine Vin "W". I replaced the complete CPI injector system (spider) three years ago because the fuel pressure regulator was leaking, around $300.00. Right now I have the same problem but surfing on internet I found a site, 1A Auto, selling only the fuel pressure regulator for $54.00, new aftermarket part.

My question is; have you had some references about this replacement? Is a good option?

I'll appreciate your comments.

A. I am not aware of any replaceable pressure regulators for the CPI units. But hey... if it works, why not? Just make sure they back up their claims. I would also make sure that is the problem by doing a fuel pressure test.
