Jeep Not Horny

Q. I have a 1990 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 liter automatic. Its a good car, but my horn doesn't work. I've looked for a fuse or loose wires but found nothing. Repair manuals aren't helping either. Please advise. One day it just stopped. What can I do to fix it?

Jeremy

A. Since there are two horns in that truck and the chances of both of them going bad at the same time is pretty low, I would have to look at the horn relay.

The relay is located above and to the left of the fuse box and has three wires running to it. With a test light, see if you have power to the gray/red wire when you press the horn switch. If you do, replace the relay. If not, you have a problem with the horn switch in the steering wheel.
