Ford Ranger Fuel Filter And Spark Plugs Q. Vincent: two, hopefully simple questions (and perhaps simple answers?) 1993 Ford Ranger 2.3 liter. Where is the fuel filter? I want to replace it and can't find it. Any tricks to removing and replacing it? I changed 5 of 8 spark plugs because I have no idea how to access three of them as they are buried behind other mechanical stuff. Any suggestions? Thanks very much, Roger

A. 1. The fuel filter is under the truck, inside the left frame rail towards the center of the vehicle. The only trick is the clips for the fuel lines. Make sure you use the new clips that come with the filter.

2. I'm confused. The 2.3 liter is a four cylinder and the V-6 was a 3.0 or 4.0. There was no 8 cylinder available.
