Honda Transmission Filter Q. Dear Vince: Thank you for the opportunity. I have a question for you. I like to change the transmission filter to my Honda Accord and I do not know how to do it. Can you help with it? Model: 1996 Honda Accord DX Transmission: Automatic Best Regards, Leo

A. I don't have a picture of one handy, but it's very simple to do. Take the bolts holding the transmission oil pan out and you will see the filter right there. There are three or four small bolts holding it in. Just remove the bolts, remove the filter and slap the new one in. It should only take about 45 minutes to do.
