Kia Sportage Spark Plug Replacement

Q. I have a 1998 Kia Sportage 4x4. I am desperate for a diagram of the cylinder head. I need to change spark plugs, but I can't even FIND the plugs. So far it is like a national security breach in getting someone to tell me where to look for the damn things. I have no money to take it to a service repairman and all I need is a diagram of the motor and cylinder head. Can you help me?

Sincerely,
Lori

A. Anything for a Lady Lori. Here you go!

You need to remove the cover in the valve cover. Once the cover is off, remove the ignition coils, ignition wires and spark plugs. Make sure you note which wires go where so when you put it back together you don't cross any wires.
