Another Transport Won't OD
Q. Hello Vincent, I have read the article Transport Won't OD about the transmission problem. My Pontiac Transport is a 1995 with the same transmission and has the same problem. After 40 highway miles the transmission would drop out of overdrive.
Can you give me an answer what the problem was or the e-mail of that person with the same problem? May be that he has solved the problem.

CarstenA. Even if I kept records of who sent me what questions, I would not be able to give it to anyone. I have a strict policy not to reveal any personal information at all without permission.
That was about two years ago and if they did respond with what the problems actually was, and very few people do, I've long since forgot. Sorry.
