Nissan Sentra Shakes, Noise, No Power Q. My car has started to shake, especially when it is in drive and I'm not on the brake or accelerating. Also, when I drive above 40 mph the car makes a noise, hard to describe. The car has trouble accelerating too and has stalled out a few times. My boyfriend thinks the problem may be a fuel pump. A. The symptoms are a little vague and can be caused by quite a few different things. But I don't believe it's a fuel pump problem.

I think I would start with the basics before looking for anything more serious. Back To Basics.
