Pontiac Firebird Takes A Leak Q. I have an 1989 Pontiac Firebird 5.0 liter V-8 TBI.It smokes at the spot where the back of the engine and heater core is. It might be a hose disconnected or leaking. Where can you buy ethanol??

A. There are two special hoses that go to the heater core. One probably has a hole in it. Be careful when removing it from the heater core!! The pipe is very fragile!

You can get ethanol blended fuel at any gas station that sells it. 105 is common and 85% is also available. I don't think you can get pure ethanol anywhere. Scarcity depends on what area of the country you live in.
