Antique Tools

Q. Hi Vincent. I have a short question. I have a Caster and Camber Alignment Blue-Point Snap-On Tools. The two pads and the gauge and other pieces. The gauge comes in a nice wooden box. I'm told it's to fix cars, GM from the 40's - 50's.

Any idea of value? I want to sell it but have no idea on what to ask.

Thanks For Your Time,
Abby

A. I wish I could help you with this, but I have no idea what they might be worth. From a practical stand point, they wouldn't be worth much, I don't have many cars from the 40' s and 50's rolling through my doors anymore.

To a tool collector it may have a great deal of value. What that value is I don't know. Have you considered trying to sell it on eBay? You can set a reserve price of $50.00 and see what it brings in. Just a thought.

I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help to you.
