Town & Country Air Filter Q. I'm trying to change my air filter on my 2000 Chrysler Town & Country Van 3.8 liter engine. I take the two screws off and disconect the two hoses and than the small hose and take it out but theres no way to open the box with the filter inside? I looked for clips but there arent any and tried prying it open with a screw drive but no good. What I do? Thanks, Stephen

Air Filter Housing Location

REMOVAL:

1. Remove 2 screws and air inlet resonator (Fig. 1).
2. Loosen 3 clamps holding air cleaner housing halves together.
3. Remove left side of air cleaner housing (Fig. 2).
4. Remove element from air cleaner housing (Fig. 3).

INSTALLATION:

1. Install a new element in housing.
2. Position left side of housing.
3. Snap clamps into place.
4. Install hoses and air inlet resonator.
