Resetting BMW Service Lights
Q. 1997 BMW 528i After change oil & filter, how to reset OIL SERVICE indicator led?
A. That light can only be reset at a BMW dealer. There is a special reset module that plugs into the cars test connector.
(Added) Peake Research offers a Reset & Code Scan tool that will read BMW DTCs and reset the maintainence light.
