Chevy Lumina APV Cranks, No Start

Q. Hi, I've seen this problem before but no definitive answer. 1994 Chevy Lumina APV, 3.1 liter TBI. Starts fine when cold but after warming up for a bit, AND being off for 10 minutes plus, won't start. After a while, ten minutes to two hours, will start up just fine. When it won't start, it cranks fine but there is no gas at the injectors and no spark at the coil both of which are easy to see when it does start.

Chevy Lumina APV Cranks, No Start

Swapped out the ECM and the problem continues. Had the ignition module, inside the distributor, checked both in and out of the vehicle and it checks out fine. What gives? Please help!!

Jeff

A. You need to see the factory "cranks, no start" diagnostic chart for this. It may lead you to inside the distributor. Possibly a bad ignition module or pole piece.
