Mitsubishi Mirage Instrument Cluster
Q. This morning I had gotten into my 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage LS 1.8 liter 16 valve, front wheel drive, 5 speed to go to work. When I turned it on the speedometer, odometer, tachometer, cooling gauge were all inoperable. The only gauge that is working is the fuel gauge. I have checked the fuse and the fuse is fine. Do you have any idea as to what is wrong and what I could do to fix it?
Thank you very much for your time,
TimA. The fuel gauge, temperature gauge, speedometer and odometer get power from the same wire and from the same fuse. The fact that the fuel gauge still works tells me that the fuse and wiring up to the instrument cluster is good, and that the problem is in the printed circuit board of the instrument cluster.
