Buick Century Dying On The Road
Q. I have a 1992 Buick Century, A/T, P/B, P/S, A/C, P/W, P/L that dies after it has ran for just a few miles. It has 233,XXX miles on it. I have replaced the crank sensor, ignition module, timing gears, vacuum lines, plugs, wires and it doesn't help. Fuel pressure is about 38 lbs, pulled fuel pump and tested it.
After it has run a few miles, it dies, then won't start for about 15 or 20 minutes. Any suggestions?
A. Does it have fuel pressure and spark after it dies and won't re-start? It's probably missing one of the two. After that is determined it would be a lot easier to diagnose.
