Ford Escape Data Link Connector Q. The emission light on my 2001 Ford Escape came on. I have a code scanner but can't seem to find where I have to plug it in to diagnose the problem. Any ideas where Ford hid it. Ken

A. The Data Link Connector is located behind the dashboard on the left hand side.
