Honda Civic Radio & Lighter
Q. I have a 1993 Honda Civic 4-door. My problem is that the radio and cigarette lighter have stopped working. I have tried checking the fuses but I no longer have the schematic to the fuse panel so I do not which one runs the Radio/Cigarette lighter. I did happen to check them all, and didn't find any of them to be faulty.
I am almost positive I am still getting power up to the fuse panel since they just stopped working suddenly and nothing else has gone out. What do you think?
Don
A. I try not to think Don, it only gets me into trouble.
If you have power at fuse 23, and the radio and cigarette lighter doesn't work, then the problem is in the yellow/red wire coming out from the fuse box.
The yellow/red wire splits off and sends power to the radio and to the cigarette lighter. Now where does it split off, you will ask. I'm not sure, but I would think it is somewhere in the harness near the radio and cigarette lighter.
