Buick Park Ave Third Brake Light Q. I have a 1989 Buick Park Ave with 16,000 miles. I have a short in my third brake light. That on the luggage rack. There no continuity in the two wire. The other brake work fine. I was told there only one brake switch. I cannot find the ground area. The bulb and unit are good. Thank you...

A. You may need a factory schematic to see if there is a second switch on brake pedal for this third light. I think there is another switch. It really can't run off the other switch or it would blink with the turn signals on.
