Toyota Pickup Lights On And No Start Q. To whom it may concern: I recently had trouble with my Toyota 4x4 Pickup. The parking lights would come on after she had been turned off. Also at this same time I would try to start her and the motor would roll over but she would not start. Local mechanics have told me that the air mass flow sensor was to blame or the cold start injector.

I was wondering if the two were related in this situation, as this occurs in extremely cold weather. I was also concerned as to if it may be a ground somewhere in the truck. Any help you can give me on this would be appreciated.

A. It could be a bad ground, ignition switch or headlight switch. The two problems may or may no be connected.

If you had given me the year and model of the truck I may have been able to do some checking, but without that information there's not much more I can offer.
