Pontiac Grand AM Blowing Fuses

Q. Hello Vincent: I have a problem with my car in where, the radio stopped playing, the interior lights don't work and neither do the power mirrors. Also the ABS and parking light remain always on. I believe it may be the fuse, but I attempted to remove the single 10A fuse from the Cruise control, and place it where the INSTR PNL, fuses for radio, interior and glove box lights, etc, and it still didn't work. Do you have any other suggestions?

Pontiac Grand AM Blowing Fuses
  • 1998 Pontiac Grand AM GT
  • 3.1 liter V-6
  • Automatic transmission
  • 80,000 miles
  • Fuel Injection
  • ABS brakes
  • P/S, A/C, Cruise control
  • Rack and pinion steering

Thank you,
Mario

A. You need to check all the fuses with a test light. One is probably blown. You may have a short circuit somewhere causing the fuse to blow.
