Nissan Door Locks Q. Dear Vince, I have a 1992 Nissan Maxima GXE. My problem is the power door locks don't work. For about two years they would work on and off, but now they completely don't work. When pressing the lock and unlock button on the driver door, there is a clicking noise down and to the right of the steering wheel.

The keyless entry system works to open the windows and truck, but still does not open the door locks. Any help would be appreciated.

A. Well Dan, the most common cause of the problem is the master door switch. They are a little expensive but you can try to find one in a junk yard. You might get lucky and find one.
