Pontiac Fiero Inner Tie Rod Ends Q. Hi, I have a problem, I own a 1988 Pontiac Fiero, 6 cylinder, 5 speed. I need a right inner tie rod end. I can't find it anywhere, dealer has no listing for it. Can you advise on what I can do? Would a 1987 fit, or can I change the Rack pinion and tie rods with an 1987? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks...

I don't have part numbers for the whole rack assemblies so I can't tell you, definitively, if the 1987 rack assembly will fit or not. Chances are they will interchange. A GM dealer or junk yard could tell you for sure.
