Jeep Cherokee REAR LAMP FAILURE II
Q. I have a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the brake lights will not work when I step on the brake pedal. I have replaced all the bulbs, and checked the fuse. The only brake lights that work are the ones at the top of the rear door. I have turn lights, running lights, and back up lights but no brake lights and I get a REAR LAMP FRAILER on my message center. Can you help me?

TudyA. This is a problem I have been seeing more and more of lately. The brake light circuit goes through the Lamp Outage Module (LOM). When the LOM senses a inoperative lamp, the Vehicle Information Center (VIC) displays the data to the vehicle operator.
