Dodge Caravan Blower Motor Resistor
Q. 1993 Dodge Grand Caravan SE Sport 3.3 liter V-6 and automatic transmission. My heater/ac fan works on high only. I suspect the blower resistor is bad, it went slowly. I first lost #1 speed, then the rest not high. Where is the resistor located on this model? Degree of difficulty for a DIY?
I've never seen one. Don't know what I'm looking for. Totally new item for me. I replaced a blower motor one time in a 1990 Dodge Grand Caravan. That's my experience. Still want to do this though. Any pictures or drawings would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much for any and all help
DeWayneA. Here you go DeWayne! Pretty easy, unplug the blower motor resistor, unscrew it and remove it. Then stick in the new one. Reattach the screws and plug it back in. You're done. 15 minutes, 20 minutes tops.
