Anything Else An Opel?
Q. Yes, I am 27, and I am a first time car owner at this age. Anyway, I am in the Navy, and stationed in Naples, Italy. As a result, I own an Opel Calibra. GM is the owner of the Opel company though, and this is what brings me to you. I tried asking others, but they didn't know how to answer the question.
GM, well... GM is a company, and they always tell you beneficial company answers. So, I know that cars can be fixed, mechanical or body work, with parts from other cars that are similar. I guess a Honda is a Honda right? Whether one is an Acura and the other a Civic?
Well, how can I find out what cars are compatible the Opel Calibra that is GM owned? I really would like to know. Any help is appreciated.
A.
I haven't seen an Opel in a long time. I wonder if anyone remembers the little Opel Kadett. Opel stopped bringing cars into the USA because getting them to meet USA emission standards would cost too much.It is true that GM owns Opel, they also own Saab, but there is no other corresponding make of car. In other words an Opel is an Opel and nothing else is an Opel.
Europe does not have junk yards as we know them, but an Opel dealer should be able to hook you up with used parts.
