Hyundai Check Engine Light
Q. I have a 1995 Hyundai Sonata V-6 with 73,000 miles. The check engine light stays on and the engine will rev up when my foot is on the brake. It feels like it is bucking sometimes like it wants to take off when I am at a stop. please help!!!

A. Well Mandy, there are quite a number of cause for the symptoms you describe. The fact that the Check Engine light comes on means that the computer has stored a fault code. The best thing to do is to have the codes pulled from the computer and this will be the starting point to troubleshoot and repair the problem.
