Jeep CJ-7 Needs A Vacuum Diagram Q. Hello Vincent, I have a 1982 Jeep CJ-7 with a 4.2 liter carbureted engine, 5 speed manual transmission and about 180,000 miles. I was wondering if you had a vacuum diagram for this particular engine. I saw the diagram for the 1985 Jeep but I am not sure if it is the same. Any information that you can supply to me will be greatly appreciated.

We recently, pretty much, rebuilt the motor. A head bolt broke down in the block, and most of the markings came off of the hoses.

A. I'm going to make a couple of assumptions here. First I'm going to assume it is a non-California model and does not have Heavy Duty Cooling.
