Buick LeSabre Dies Hot, Restarts Cold

Q. 911 Buick LeSabre. Why would this V-6 engine just suddenly stop running after 20 to 30 minutes of driving? After it cools down in 45 minutes or so it will start again. Is it the engine oxygen sensor, exhaust sensor or what, that needs to be replaced? Please help!

Thanks for any help...

A. Most people that visit this site to help fix their cars usually want it fixed on the first try. For that to happen, we would need to see the cars in person and scan them with our own scan tools to aid in diagnostics.

My GUESS here would be loss of ignition control. Possibly a bad Crank Shaft Position sensor or Ignition Control Module problem. Have you had the fuel pressure checked and does it have spark to the plugs when it won't start?
