Suzuki Grand Vitara Stale Smelling A/C Q. Question: Is there a way to freshen the air that comes in through the air conditioner? I have a 1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara. When I use the air conditioner, the smell is very stale and unpleasant. Thanks, Nicky

A. I wrote an article on this problem. What's That Smell?? You can also replace the cabin air filter. That may help as well.

The cabin air filter is located behind the glove box.
