Camry Problem
Q. Hi there, Hopefully you can answer this question. I just purchased a 1998 Toyota Camry CE, 5-speed. Two days after I drove off the lot the check engine light came on. I took it back to the dealer and sent it to his mechanic who reset the code. The next day it came back on. Back to the mechanic and they cleaned the sensor.
Three days later the light came back on. Once again, back to the mechanic. He changed the sensor and it still came back on. What is causing this problem? And how can it be fixed.
Please help,
RachelA. There's really not enough information here for me to work with. What I would suggest is taking it to another mechanic and let them diagnose and fix the problem. Used car dealers are not known for getting the best mechanics in the world or spending a lot of money fixing a car they already sold.
